Dear friends!
this year 2022 is full of activities for our
Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life!
The major event has been the X World Meeting of Families (22-26
June, 2022), which has ended with a mandate to all families of the world by
pope Francis: "Announce with joy the beauty of being
family! ...Be the seed of a more fraternal world! Be families with
big hearts! Be the welcoming face of the Church!" With
this words addressed to each one of us, we want to share with you
all texts, pictures, and stories from the World Meeting of Families
(WMOF22).
WMOF22 was also the closure of the Amoris Laetitia
Family Year: the website www.amorislaetitia.va contains
all initiatives and resources produced during this special Year
dedicated to Family.
On July, 24, the Church celebrated the 2nd World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly.
An important moment of the papal Magisterium, that is worth an
insight.
In September (29-30), we will host an International
Summit "Sport for all", in
response to Pope Francis' call on the social, educational and
spiritual importance of sport.
With this issue, we share all these tools and proposals for
your daily work with the pastoral care for the laity, the
family and life, the elderly, and the youth.
