UNESCO - 2024 UN Civil Society Conference

Dear partners,   Following the online briefing of 14 March last, we are pleased to inform you that we will be attending the 2024 UN Civil Society Conference, to be held on 9-10 May in Nairobi, Kenya.  As you may know, this Conference will provide a platform for civil society to contribute to the preparatory process for the Summit of the Future and will be a unique opportunity to come together, engage and advocate for our common priorities to be reflected in the “Pact for the Future”. In this context and with a view to capitalizing on this opportunity, we look forward to interacting and exchanging with your representatives attending the Conference and would therefore be very grateful if you could share with us the name and contact details of your organization’s representative(s) to the Conference. Kindly send this information to ngo@unesco.org by Monday 29 April next, at the latest.   Your representative would also be invited to attend an in-person meeting entitled “Uniting for Impact: A Dialogue Between UNESCO and Partner NGOs”, to be held on 8 May (the eve of the Conference) organized in cooperation with the UNESCO Office in Nairobi.
