UNESCO
celebrates the 30th Anniversary of World Oceans Day, largest ecosystem of the
planet. The 2022 theme of the Day « Revitalization: Collective action for the
Ocean » reminds us of the importance to work together to create a new balance
with the ocean and offers a complementary reflection ahead of the United Nations Ocean Conference in Lisbon (27
June-1 July). |

UNESCO highlights African cinema at the 75th
Cannes Film Festival with a conference-debate (May 24) dedicated to the
promotion of African cinema. The event will focus on the great development
potential of the African cinema industry and UNESCO's initiatives to support
it. |

online. All teams are encouraged to publish their articles on
the new platform. The construction of the new site, in its different language
versions, will take place progressively.
The calendar of events, communication
priorities and resources for communication are available on the CPE Intranet. Please
anticipate and systematically indicate the important activities you wish to
highlight, in liaison with the communication officers of your respective
sectors.
