COMITE’ EXECUTIF A CAMBRAI
La dernière réunion du Comité s'était tenue à Rome dans
les derniers jours de novembre. Au cours de ces journées, des rencontres ont eu
lieu avec la Secrétairerie d'État, la Congrégation pour l'éducation catholique
et le Dicastère des laïcs de la FV, une occasion importante de discuter de la
vie de l'Umec ces dernières années. Les différents dicastères du Saint-Siège
ont apprécié le travail effectué et ont donné des conseils pour la poursuite
des activités.
Les thèmes abordés à Cambrai étaient les suivants :
les activités de l'Union au cours du dernier trimestre, la révision des Statuts
pour les mettre en conformité avec le récent décret du Dicastère pour les
laïcs, la mise à jour du Préambule et du Règlement annexé aux Statuts, les
activités de solidarité pour soutenir diverses initiatives socio-éducatives
menées dans des pays connaissant des situations de grande difficulté, la préparation
de la prochaine Assemblée générale appelée à renouveler les organes de
gouvernement de l'Union, le projet de travaux de l'Assemblée.
Les différentes échéances prévues par les Statuts et le
Règlement pour le chemin de préparation de l'Assemblée seront communiqués dès
que possible.
L'Assemblée se tiendra à Rome en novembre prochain. Comme
il s'agit de demander au Saint-Père de nous accorder une audience, la date sera
déterminée en fonction de l'agenda du Pape.
Le Comité a exprimé sa préoccupation et sa tristesse face à la grave situation de guerre en Ukraine. Elle a donc rédigé un communiqué qui sera diffusé (voir annexe )
Mgr Dollmann a délivré son message pour le Carême (voir
annexe).
Le Comité exécutif a remercié l'Archevêque pour sa disponibilité et l'accueil chaleureux .
La prochaine réunion du Comité exécutif est prévue en
avril à Rome, à l'occasion de la rencontre du Dicastère pour les laïcs avec les
représentants des associations reconnues par le Saint-Siège.
MEETING
OF THE UMEC-WUCT EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE IN CAMBRAI
From 24 to 28 February 2022 the Executive Committee
met in Cambrai, hosted by Archbishop Mgr Vincent Dollmann, Ecclesiastical
Assistant of the Union.
The last meeting of the Committee was in Rome in the
last days of November. During those days, meetings were held with the
Secretariat of State, the Congregation for Catholic Education and the FV Laity
Dicastery, an important opportunity to discuss the life of UMEC in recent
years. The various Dicasteries of the Holy See appreciated the work done and
gave advice for the continuation of activities.
The topics discussed in Cambrai were the following:
activities of the Union in the last quarter, revision of the Statutes - to
bring them into line with the recent decree of the Dicastery for the Laity -,
updating of the Preamble and the Rules annexed to the Statutes, solidarity
activities to support various socio-educational initiatives carried out in
countries experiencing situations of great difficulty, preparation of the next
General Assembly called to renew the governing bodies of the Union, draft of
the work of the Assembly. The various deadlines provided for by the Statutes
and the Rules for the path of preparation of the Assembly will be communicated
as soon as possible.
The Assembly will be held in Rome next November. Since
it is intended to ask the Holy Father to grant us an audience, the date will be
determined according to the Pope's schedule.
The Committee expressed its concern and sorrow at the
serious war situation in Ukraine. It has therefore drawn up a communiqué which
will be circulated (see
attachment).

annex).

The next meeting of the Executive Committee is planned
for April in Rome, on the occasion of the meeting of the Dicastery for the
Laity with the representatives of the associations recognised by the Holy See.
REUNIÓN
DEL COMITÉ EJECUTIVO DE LA UMEC-WUCT EN CAMBRAI
Del 24 al 28 de febrero de 2022, el Comité Ejecutivo se
reunió en Cambrai, acogido por Monseñor Vincent Dollmann, Asistente
Eclesiástico de la Unión.
La última reunión del Comité se celebró en Roma en los
últimos días de noviembre. Durante esos días, se celebraron reuniones con la
Secretaría de Estado, la Congregación para la Educación Católica y el
Dicasterio de Laicos de la FV, una importante oportunidad para discutir la vida
de la Umec en los últimos años. Los distintos Dicasterios de la Santa Sede apreciaron
el trabajo realizado y dieron consejos para la continuación de las actividades.
Los temas tratados en Cambrai fueron las actividades de
la Unión en el último trimestre, la revisión de los Estatutos para adecuarlos
al reciente decreto del Dicasterio para los Laicos, la actualización del
Preámbulo y del Reglamento anexo a los Estatutos, las actividades de
solidaridad para apoyar diversas iniciativas socioeducativas llevadas a cabo en
países que atraviesan situaciones de gran dificultad, la preparación de la
próxima Asamblea General convocada para renovar los órganos de gobierno de la
Unión, el borrador de los trabajos de la Asamblea Por cierto, los diversos
plazos previstos por los Estatutos y el Reglamento para el camino de
preparación de la Asamblea serán comunicados lo antes posible.
La Asamblea se celebrará en Roma el próximo mes de
noviembre. Como se trata de pedir al Santo Padre que nos conceda una audiencia,
la fecha se determinará en función de la agenda del Papa.
El Comité expresó su preocupación y tristeza por la grave
situación de guerra en Ucrania. Por ello, ha redactado un comunicado que se
distribuirá (véase
el anexo).
El Obispo Dollmann dio su mensaje para la Cuaresma (ver
anexo).
El Comité Ejecutivo le agradece su disponibilidad y la
calurosa acogida rcebida.
La
próxima reunión del Comité Ejecutivo está prevista para el mes de abril en
Roma, con motivo del encuentro del Dicasterio para los Laicos con los
representantes de las asociaciones reconocidas por la Santa Sede.
RIUNIONE
DEL COMITATO ESECUTIVO UMEC-WUCT A CAMBRAI
Dal 24 al 28 febbraio
2022 il Comitato Esecutivo si è riunito a Cambrai, ospite dell’Arcivescovo
Mons, Vincent Dollmann, Assistente Ecclesiastico dell’Unione.
L’ultima riunione del
Comitato era stata a Roma negli ultimi giorni di novembre. In quelle giornate
si sono svolti incontri con la Segreteria di Stato, la Congregazione per
l’Educazione Cattolica e il Dicastero dei Laici FV, importante occasione per
confrontarsi sulla vita dell’Umec in questi ultimi anni. I vari Dicasteri della
Santa Sede hanno apprezzato il lavoro svolto e hanno dato consigli per il
prosieguo delle attività.
I temi trattati a
Cambrai sono stati: le attività dell’Unione nell’ultimo trimestre, la revisione
dello Statuto per adeguarlo al recente decreto del Dicastero dei Laici,
l’aggiornamento della Premessa e del Regolamento annessi allo Statuto, le
attività di solidarietà per il sostegno a varie iniziative socio-educative
realizzate in Paesi che vivono situazioni di grande difficoltà, la preparazione
della prossima Assemblea Generale chiamata a rinnovare gli organismi direttivi
dell’Unione, la bozza dei lavori dell’Assemblea A proposito, quanto prima
possibile saranno comunicate le varie scadenze previste dallo Statuto e dal
Regolamento per il cammino di preparazione dell’Assemblea.
L’Assemblea si terrà a
Roma nel prossimo novembre. Poiché si intende chiedere al Santo Padre di
riceverci in udienza, la data sarà definita in base agli impegni del Papa.
Il Comitato ha espresso
preoccupazione e dolore per la grave situazione di guerra che sta vivendo
l'Ucraina. Ha, perciò, redatto un comunicato che sarà diffuso (vedi
allegato).
Mons. Dollmann ha consegnato
il suo messaggio per la Quaresima (vedi
allegato).
Il Comitato Esecutivo ha
ringraziato l’Arcivescovo per la sua disponibilità e la sua familiare accoglienza
ricevuta.
La prossima riunione del
Comitato Esecutivo è prevista in aprile a Roma, in occasione dell’incontro del
Dicastero dei Laici coi rappresentati delle associazioni riconosciute dalla
Santa Sede.
