UNESCO: 22 FEBRUARY 2016 - International Mother Language Day - Journée internationale de la langue maternelle

 J’ai le plaisir de vous annoncer le thème  de la Journée internationale de la langue maternelle (Jilm), « Education de qualité, langues d’enseignement et acquis de l’apprentissage ».

Veuillez trouver ci-joint la note technique de la Jilm 2016 ; c’est une traduction non officielle.

 A l’occasion de la Journée,  le message de la Directrice générale de l’UNESCO dans les six langues officielles de l’ONU, le programme, et le visuel seront disponibles en ligne.

La cérémonie d’ouverture aura lieu le 22 février au Siège de l’UNESCO.

 I am happy to inform you that the 2016 International Mother Language Day (IMLD) theme is: Quality education, language(s) of instruction and learning outcomes.

Please find attached the IMLD 2016 concept note.

 On the occasion of the Day, the IMLD agenda, the infographic and the message of the UNESCO Director-General in the six UN official languages will be available online.

 The Day will be launched with an opening ceremony at UNESCO HQs on 22 February.
