UNESCO - EDUCATION THIS WEEK

(6 – 9 April 2021)

-WHERE ARE TEACHERS PRIORITIZED FOR THE COVID-19 VACCINE?-

Wondering where teachers are being prioritized for the COVID-19 vaccine? Check out this new map to find out.

Based on data from 150 countries—including data from the UNESCO/UNICEF/World Bank Survey on National Education Responses to COVID-19 School Closures, the research found that only 17 countries coming from several regions prioritize teachers within the first group for vaccination.
