Before outlining my presentation I would like to thank most sincerely Cardinal Grocholewski the former Prefect of the Congregation for Catholic Education and Archbishop Zani Secretary of the Congregation for inviting me to present a paper at this World Congress celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Gravissimum Educationis the foundational document on Christian education of the Second Vatican Council.

- To highlight the demonstrable focus on Formation
